Trip leaders should print out a few copies of liability forms for adults and minors before each trip. Non-members will each need to sign a Waiver of Liability form before going on the trip, including one for each family member. Current SCP members already signed a Waiver of Liability form when they joined. A $5 insurance fee (check payable to ACA) will also be collected from all paddlers who cannot display a current ACA membership card. Please, if you are a non-member, help out your trip leader and bring a signed waiver form with you when you come to an event. Trip leaders also need to print out the Final Report Form roster available in the same place. All members and non-members attending the trip should be listed on the roster.

Trip leaders may also want some copies of the membership application to hand out to potential new members.

Don't forget to tell new members they need to submit both the membership application page and a Waiver of Liability form.
Remember: for joint memberships, both spouses must complete and sign a separate waiver!
And for family memberships, a waiver for each minor must be filled out and signed as well.

If you collect a completed membership form from an event member along with a check for membership dues, please get those items to the treasurer as soon as you can.
