Samsons Island

SCP has adopted a camping site on Samsons Island in Satellite Beach, which will require two maintenance workdays each year from several club members. The City of Satellite Beach rewards individual volunteers with a T-shirt after the completion of their second workday. The location of the SCP-sponsored campsite is near Pond Trail and is in a beautiful area under native slash and longleaf pines. A plaque along Pond Trail will be erected by the city indicating the site was built and will be maintained by SCP member volunteers.
